FUSED GLASS
Glass fusing is the joining together of pieces of glass, then baking them at high temperatures around 800°C, usually in a kiln. This technique offers a very wide range of creating different items and is responsible for very unique effects. The moment you are opening a kiln is a moment of excitement, because temperature adds its own unexpected contribution to the process. I created plates, pendant and home decor. Besides, I had an opportunity to participate in a team project when creating table top for my friend's outdoor table. That is me on the picture, on the left, making green stripes.
